I'm sure a lot of people have heard about Real Technique makeup brushes. They are sold in Superdrug and boots in the UK and also online for other countries as well. I have used these for several months now with my makeup and I just think the quality of the brushes are great.
They are created by Sam and Nic Chapman. If you want to get more information, they have twitter accounts which are @Pixiwoos and @Nixiepixi. They also have a youtube channel, pixiwoo.
I have 3 sets of these brushes now and one odd brush too.
The first set I brought was the Core set. This has four brushes with the main essential brushes you would need for your everyday makeup. It comes with the buffer Brush, contour brush, detailer brush and pointed foundation brush. I use the buffer brush for my blusher, the contour brush for my concealer and the foundation brush for my rimmel foundation. The detailer brush I use for the Stay, Don't Stray benefit product on my eyelids.
The next set I have is the duo-fibre set, which I got for Christmas. This comes with a face brush, a contour brush and the eye brush. I love this set so much. The duo-fibre bristles just make putting on makeup feel so easy and effortless.
The last set I have is the Nic's Picks set. This comes with five brushes and three exclusive brushes. It has another duo-fibre face brush, an eyeliner brush, a cheek brush, a base shadow brush and an angled shadow brush. Again, I love this set a lot. I use the eye shadow brushes the most. They are great with powder and cream shadows. But the whole set is amazing.
The last single brush I have is the retractable lip brush. This is great for applying lip product and it also comes with a lid so it wont get your makeup bag messy.
These sets are perfect for if you are just starting with makeup or have been doing makeup for years. They make the application quick, easy and simple and I would highly recommend the Real Technique Brushes.
They also have a new collection out in boots, which are the bold metals and they look so beautiful and cannot wait to purchase some.
Also they have an online shop; http://realtechniques.com/shop-collection#!/
I hope you love them as much as I do.

New York City 2014
In October 2014, I made my way to the Big Apple. This was a dream come true as I have wanted to visit for years. I have seen many pictures of New York, but I was hoping it lived up to my expectations. It certainly did.
We headed to Central Park, which was so amazing. You see it in movies but it was very different. I didn't realise it was so HUGE! They were even filming an episode of a TV show while we were there as well. (It was Forever if you were wondering. Apparently it was only shown for about 30 seconds, but it was cool). Central Park isn't just grass and trees, there is a whole map of different locations through the park. I loved the carousel and the Alice in Wonderland statue, and the skyline views were so pretty.
Time Square was one of the main places I wanted to visit. It was amazing. The lights and the billboards and the skyscrapers and the shops. I loved every minute of it. I'd say my favourite place in Times Square was either MAC or Macy's.
Fifth Avenue is the more expensive side New York, with shops such as Prada, Dior and Chanel. But I had to visit Tiffany's. (Breakfast at Tiffany's is my favourite movie.) Who knew it has SIX floors?!?! I was in heaven and couldn't resist buying a necklace while I was there.
We did a lot more in New York such as The Statue of Liberty and Rockefeller Centre, but it was the best trip of my life. If you ever get the opportunity to go. do not pass up the offer.

P.S. Sorry for picture quality, these were taken on my phone. x
